Genesis Reptile Rescue is a board-led, 501c3 non-profit run by volunteers from around Northern Michigan. Our goal is to provide people with the information they need to properly take care of their reptiles whether they are adopting, purchasing from a pet store, or buying directly from a breeder. We hope to accomplish this in a variety of ways. First, through this website, we will be adding care sheets as well as links to reputable resources and articles. Second, we will be spreading this information via social media. Last, but certainly not least, is through one on one interaction. Whether it is face to face at an event or expo, over email/text, on the phone, or video chat. We want to help others in the hobby and those looking to get into the hobby take the best possible care of their animals.
Mission Staetment
At Genesis Reptile Rescue we believe that Mankind was entrusted by our Creator to be good stewards of creation. We encourage this call to stewardship by promoting quality reptile husbandry practices. As the need arises, we shall help to facilitate the rescue, foster care, and rehoming of reptiles and amphibians into caring, knowledgeable, responsible, and committed forever homes.
